We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic presenters nationwide, on a self-employed basis, who are ready to take advantage of the internationally respected brand of Bugfest and all the recognition it brings.

We are offering £30 per hour travel time and £30 per hour presenting time.

No lesson plans

No schemes of work

No marking

Because we are offering so much, we are only looking for the most outstanding people! Maybe it’s you?

In order to be considered, you must have one or more of these essential qualifications:

PGCE

BEd

BSc Ed

Ba Ed

Qualified EYFS teacher

Level five DTLLS

Level five DET

HLTA

Significant experience (five years plus) in a youth work management position.

Significant experience as a teaching assistant (minimum level three qualified) or as a forest school leader/teacher. 

You don’t have to have a degree in science (though that would be cool) what we want is passion for delivering an outstanding learning experience in the classroom that is: 

Learner-led

Multi-sensory

Dynamic

Memorable

Nurturing and encouraging

Confidence building

Along with the above, you must be able to demonstrate appropriate to the age range in-depth knowledge of entomology and related national curriculum topics, African animals and more.

You must also be prepared to make an initial financial outlay to acquire animals and equipment (which is why we are offering so much and you will be self-employed).

You must also be prepared to put time into marketing alongside us – we want you to succeed! After all: your success is our success and vice versa.

You can also provide party services at the weekend if you wanted to.

Because this is self-employed, your weekly earnings WILL go up and down seasonally; you and your determination to succeed are the only factors that will affect how much you earn.

When the schools are closed in the summer – you should be looking at local events, fetes, festivals – the opportunities are endless, and with an established brand name behind you, doors are much easier to open.
